Meet Morah Shaina

Shaina graduated and received her training and accreditation in Childhood Education from the Ohel Chana Seminary in Melbourne, Australia. She currently teaches Kindergarten at the Lubavitch Educational Center in North Miami after spending a year educating and working with autistic and special needs children at Yeled v'Yalda in New York. Shaina's experience also includes teaching and serving as assistant principal of the Chai Tots Pre-School and Director of Hebrew School in Hallandale. She also served as director or head counselor the last several years at schools and camps in Melbourne, Australia, Fairfax, Virginia and at Camp Emunah, one of the largest girls overnight camps in the Catskills, NY. Finally, Shaina has taught in our very own Chabad Hebrew School with Rabbi Adi, Rabbi Aryeh and Morah Etty Schwartz. Additionally, Morah Shaina assisted Rabbi Adi with C-Teen for many years and has always been adored by the students and parents alike.

What They Have to Say

"My daughter, Ellie, attended Hebrew School from Kindergarten through Bat Mitzvah Club in 6th Grade, and you will not find a more spiritually and academically transformative environment for your child, where learning is not a chore, but a joy.

I credit Ellie’s success to dedicated teachers, like Morah Shaina, who not only taught Ellie how to read Hebrew through Chabad’s pedagogically impressive sequential Hebrew reading program, but demonstrated, through her personal commitment and dedication, the trait of Chesed, loving-kindness, teaching Ellie how to be a leader in the community, how to be a person devoted to tzedakah and Torah, and, most profoundly, how to be proud of her Jewish identity."

Dr. Andrea Greenbaum

"Shaina is a fantastic addition to the Hebrew School. Her warmth, love and experience will take the Hebrew school to new heights.

Shaina has been working and volunteering since she was 12 years old. She has gained a tremendous reputation amongst all of the youth in our area."

Rabbi Adi

"Shaina has a wonderful way of connecting with her students. Her depth of knowledge and patience makes religious school an enjoyable experience..."

Jodi Baumel

Having Shaina as a leader always kept me excited about coming to future events. She always has such a positive attitude and truely portrayed that she loved each and every one of us.
