Rabbi Pinny and Gitty Andrusier moved from New York to open Chabad of Southwest Broward in March of 1992. In addition to their thriving Chabad house, they are renowned for their large scale community programs and events. Their exquisite High Holiday program which always takes place at a five star resort, annually attracts more than 700 participants where they offer meaningful services, celebrated cantors, internationally renowned speakers, and gourmet dining. Rabbi Pinny is also famous for organizing large scale events such as his annual Jewish Heritage Night with the Miami Heat and the other local sports teams.Chabad SWB is also recognized as the leading organization, always at the forefront of community outreach and providing essential services, especially in times of crisis and need. For instance, during the latest pandemic Chabad SWB provided more than 3,000 meals to the needy and homebound. Chabad SWB also has initiated many other campaigns to help those in need regardless of race or religion.Some of the other services Chabad offers include: Daily, weekly and holiday services, Hebrew school for young boys and girls, Friendship Circle for children with special needs, Sunshine Circle for seniors, and C-Teen. Chabad also offers many educational programs, classes and seminars including accredited course as a member of the acclaimed Jewish Learning Institute. With the exciting purchase of the beautiful new 6.5 acre campus, Chabad's programs and services only promise to grow exponentially and will gives us the ability to initiate many new ones. Some of those plans include: a vocational school, pre-school, summer camp, senior daycare, C-Teen lounge, Friendship Circle center and a retreat to host special occasions, family Simchas and community getaways.

Description:


CHABAD lUBAVITCH OF SW BROWARD, a Florida Non-profit organization located in Cooper City, Florida, is accepting proposals for secure impact resistent windows and doors, alarm system, access control/locks, camera system, until February 17, 2023, at Chabad SWB, 5960 SW 106 Ave, Cooper City, FL 33328. Proposals received after the aforementioned date and time will be returned unopened. The sealed proposals will be publicly opened on (Feb. 18 at 9am, one day after final date to submit proposals).


The complete Request for Proposals, including all specifications and proposal forms, may be obtained by bona fide proposers upon application at the ChabadSWB campus, 5960 SW 106 Ave, Cooper City, FL 33328 or emailed to [email protected]


Sealed proposal envelopes should be marked “RFP for Physical Security Enhancements BID NUMBER: CHABADSWB2019”.


The Non-Profit shall evaluate the proposals in accordance with the criteria set forth in the RFP. The Non-Profit anticipates an award to the proposer with the proposal determined by the Non-Profit to be most advantageous. The Non-Profit may conduct interviews and/or require presentations as part of the evaluation process. The Non-Profit shall not be liable for any costs incurred by any proposer in connection with its response to this RFP. The Non-Profit reserves the right to reject all RFP submittals, waive any formalities, solicit and re-advertise for new RFP submittals, or to abandon the project in its entirety.
